William Feigns is the moniker for songster/absurdist writer/photographer Josh Murphy. He started writing original songs and taking photographs at age fourteen and never stopped. He's been singer/song writer in many bands throughout the years, including Wild Murphy & The New Year and The Black Fortys, the latter of which was named the Best College Band of the Year in 2008 by Rolling Stone Magazine. The moniker "William Feigns" was created to funnel all of Josh's writings, songs, photos, recordings, and films into one foundation and under one name. Currently he just released his first solo album "THE LIFE AND DEATH OF WILLIAM FEIGNS" on Halloween of 2014 he produced and releases "WATERSNAKES" a short surreal film. Currently, William is finished a western film titled "For No Good Reason slated for release in early 2015.
