After pickin’ together in various Nashville groups, John Beck (Vocals & Mandolin) and Adam Dalton (Vocals & Guitar) got together for a Nashville co-write in Winter 2014. The date marked the birth of their song “Restless” and the genesis of what would become the Tennessee Warblers. Longtime musical compadre Dean Marold (Upright Bass) soon joined the fold to add some much needed bass bottom and they were off to the races. After performing as a trio for the better part of 2014, mutli-instrumentalist Charles Butler (Banjo & Dobro) joined the group and brought with him many musical ideas and textures helping drive the group to new heights.
From their first gig at the Tennessee Brew Works to their performances at the Nashville Predators’ 2015 Craft Beer Festival and Hot Shots - Hot Chicken, Whiskey and Bourbon Festival at the Bridgestone Arena, the Warblers have stayed true to their mission to pull from the best of America’s roots music while also keeping a keen eye to the future.
